Chintamani Chaturmukh Ras, is a tablet form. Used in mental disorders.
Its usage:
1.It is used in the treatment of psychosis, epilepsy, paralysis and such other neuromuscular and neuropsychiatric conditions.
2.It acts as rejuvenative.
Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata.
Dosage:
125 mg once or twice a day, after food.
Side effects:
Over-dose or self- medication, is strictly not advisable; it could be poisonous as it is a mineral preparation.
Chintamani Chaturmukh Ras ingredients:
Rasasindhura – Mercurial compound – 10 g
Loha Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Iron – 5 g
Abhraka Bhasma – Purified and processed Mica – 5 g
Swarna Bhasma – Bhasma of Gold – 2.5 g
Kumari – Aloe vera – juice extract – quantity sufficient
Eranda – Castor – Ricinus communis – leaves
Fine power of above ingredient is ground with juice extract or decoction, made into paste and pills.After making the pills, they are kept under the cover of castor leaves and stored inside heap of barley for three days.
