Himcospaz Soft Gelatin Capsules
Description: Himcospaz is a specially designed product for spasms of varied aetiology. It is a herbal preparation containing the extracts of Sati, Sunthi and Ajamoda. Sati has spasmolytic effect in colic and spasms. It is used as a digestive. Sunthi has carminative, stimulative and antiemetic activities. It has antispasmodic effect on visceral smooth muscles. Ajamoda has antispasmodic, disgestive, carminative and antiflatulent properties. It is useful in digestion, abdominal discomfort and colic.
 
Composition: Each soft gelatin capsules contains: Extract Ajamoda (Apium graveolens) 96 mg, Sati (Curcuma zedoaria) 25.5 mg, Sunthi (Zingiber officinale) 24 mg
 
Porcess in oil of: Shatapushpa (Foeniculum vulgare), Krishnajiraka (Carum carvi), Yawani Carum copticum)
 
Indications: Abdominal colic {(intestinal colic (amoebic colitis), faecal obstruction, Cholecystitis and gall stones, parasitic a obstructions)} Acute pain associated with lower UTI, Ureteric spasms, Spasmodic pain in: Chronic pancreatitis, Chronic secreatory diarrhea (irritable bowel syndrome), Uterus (dysmenorrhoe, pelvic inflammatory diseases), Non-specific diarrhea (Chronic infective diarrhea, bacillary dysentery, amoebic dysentery, worm infestations).
 
Contraindications: No absolute contraindications:
Side Effects: None
Dosage:
2 soft gelatin capsules to be taken as soon as the acute spasmodic pain is felt.
1 gelatin capsules capsule may be repeated after 1 hour, if the spasmodic pain is not relieved completely, or as directed by the physician.
Subsequently, 1 soft gelatin capsule may be taken at intervals of 8 hours for the next 3-5 days
For the management of irritable bowel syndrome, 2 soft gelatin capsules to be taken twice daily for 4-6 weeks.
In spasmodic dysmenorrhoea and menstrual cramps, 2 soft gelatin capsules to be taken twice daily till the menstrual cycle completes.
In severe types of colic, including biliary and renal colic, it may be combined with other conventional antispasmodics, or as directed by your physician.
 
Presentation:
Box of 10 blister strips of 10 soft gelatin capsules each (Net Contents 100 Capsules)
