Miswak Toothpaste
Ideal for Routine Oral Care

Introduction :
Oral health has a major influence on an individual’s quality of life and overall well-being. Several chronic and systemic diseases have been attributed to poor oral health. Miswak (Toothbrush Tree) or Salvadora persica is an indispensible ingredient for oro-dental care. This herb efficiently manages and prevents bad breath (halitosis), gingivitis (bleeding and inflamed gums), dental sensitivity, plaque, cavities and pyorrhea, promoting the health and strength of your gums and teeth.

This herb has been used since time immemorial for maintaining oral hygiene and ameliorating oro-dental disorders. Arabs employed this herbal twig to whiten and polish their teeth in the ancient times. Scientific researches on Miswak have further established its efficacy as a potent antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and healing herb that effectively combats oral pathogens.

It is a potent anticaries herb that not only inhibits the growth of Streptococcus mutans but also controls the colonization and accumulation of this caries causing bacterium species1; Miswak effectively protects against dental plaque as well.2

Benzyl isothiocyanate, a major component obtained from the roots of Miswak significantly combats gram-negative bacteria that are responsible for various oral pathologies.3 It is scientifically well established that this herb effectively improves periodontal health and significantly combats Candida infection as well.

Furthermore, Miswak significantly accelerates extraction socket (alveolar bone) wound healing following tooth extraction.4
This 100% safe and effective herbal dental care preparation is highly recommended for routine usage as it effectively maintains oral health and hygiene, endows fresh breath, strengthens and whitens teeth, and significantly promotes gingival health.
