Description:Hridayarnava Rasa is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet or powder form. It is used in the treatment of heart diseases associated with heaviness of chest and dspnoea etc.  This medicine contains heavy metal ingredients, hence should only be taken under strict medical supervision.

 

Hridayarnava Rasam Uses: It is used in the treatment of cardiac disorders with difficulty in breathing and heaviness of chest. – Cardiac diseases of Kapha origin.

 

Hrudayarnav Ras dosage: 125 – 250 mg before or after food, once or twice a day or as advised by Ayurvedic doctor. It is traditionally advised along with water decoction of kakamachi and Triphala.

 

Hridayarnava Rasa side effects:

  1. Self medication with this medicine may prove to be dangerous, since it contains heavy metal ingredient.
  2. Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of time, as advised by doctor.
  3. Over-dosage may cause sever poisonous effect.
  4. It is best avoided in pregnancy, lactation and in children.
  5. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in a dry cool place.

 

Hridayarnav Rasam Gulika ingredients, how to make:
Shuddha Parada – Herbal purified Mercury – 10 g
Shuddha Gandhaka – Herbal purified Sulphur – 10 g
Tamra Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Copper – 20 g
Quantity sufficient of water decoction prepared from
Kakamachi – Solanum nigrum
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula
Vibhitaki – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn.

 

The powdered ingredients are ground with the water decoction and dried.
