Description:Raja Mrigank Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet or powder form. It is used in the treatment of tuberculosis, emaciation, chronic respiratory diseases etc. This medicine contains heavy metal ingredients, hence should only be taken under strict medical supervision.

 

Raja Mrigank Ras Uses:
It is used in the treatment of pthisis, tuberculosis, emaciation, chronic bronchitis.

 

Raj Mrigank Ras dosage:

  • 250 mg once or twice a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
  • It is traditionally administered along with 10 long pepper fruit and honey, pepper, ghee.

How long to use: It can be used upto 1 – 2 months based on doctor’s prescription.

 

Raj Mrigank Ras side effects:

  1. Self medication with this medicine may prove to be dangerous, since it contains Arsenic as ingredient.
  2. Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of time, as advised by doctor.
  3. Over-dosage may cause sever poisonous effect.
  4. It is best avoided in pregnancy, lactation and in children.
  5. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in a dry cool place.

Raja Mriganka Rasa ingredients, how to make:

Rasabhasma – Rasasindhura – A compound of Purified Mercury and Sulphur – 30 g
Swarna Bhasma – Bhasma of Gold – 10 g
Rajata Bhasma – Bhasma of Silver – 10 g
Manashila – Purified and processed Realgar (Arsenic di sulphide) – 20 g
Shuddha Gandhaka – Herbal purified Sulphur  – 20 g
Shuddha Haratala – Purified and processed Orpiment (Arsenic tri sulphide) – 20 g
Varata Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Cowries – 10 g
Tankana Bhasma – Borax – 10 g

 

The first six ingredients are mixed, filled in cowries, sealed with goat milk. It is further heated in closed container in 800 – 900 degree celsius for 5 – 6 hours, opened, and whole mass is powdered.
