Description:Galakol Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Charak Pharmaceuticals. It initiates and increases lactation.

Morat – Clematis gouriana – 12.50 mg

Varahikanda – Dioscorea bulbifera – 50 mg – Varahikanda – tuber of Dioscorea bulbifera is an excellent aphrodisiac herb, used for the treatment of diabetes, eczema, psoriasis, intestinal parasites etc. It is also called air potato.
Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – 100 mg

 

Indication of Galakol Tablet:
Inadequate lactation due to subnormal physiological status or post-partum stress.

 

Dosage of Galakol Tablet:
2 tablets thrice a day for 6 weeks, followed by 2 tablets twice a day throughout lactation.

 

Do’s:-
Ensure proper and timely breastfeeding of the child.
Have proper nutritious food especially rich in calcium to ensure proper health.

 

Side effects of Galakol Tablet:

  1. There are no known side effects with this medicine.
  2. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
  3. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
  4. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
  5. Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
