Glycem Capsule provides adequate sugar control in diabetic patients devoid of hypoglycemic shock and allergic manifestation. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Capro Labs Exports India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. However, the danger of hypoglycemia is always present and requires constant medical supervision. Composition of Glycem Capsule:
Each 500 mg capsule contains-
Nimba-bark (Azadirachta indica)- 50 mg
Haridra-rhizome (Curcuma longa)- 50 mg
Vana haridra-rhizome (Curcuma aromatica)- 50 mg
Amalaki-fruit (Embelica officinalis)- 50 mg
Madhuyasti-root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)- 90 mg
Naga bhasma – 10 mg
Ekanayakam-root & bark (Salacia reticulate)- 50 mg
Khadira-sara (Acacia catechu)- 90 mg
Lodhra-bark (Symplocos racemosa)- 50 mg
Vanga bhasma – 10 mg.
Dosage of Glycem Capsule:
2 capsules thrice daily depending upon sugar level, or as directed by the physician.
