Description:Pravala Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine prepared from Coral. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of cough, asthma, bleeding disorders etc. This medicine should only be taken strictly under medical supervision.
Pravala Bhasma Uses:
It is used in treatment of eye disorders, pthisis, chronic respiratory diseases, cough, cold, bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding, bleeding hemorrhoids, menorrhagia etc, excessive sweating, night sweating, toxic conditions, painful micturition and leucorrhoea etc. It improves digestive power, vision power, immunity and skin complexion.
Traditional uses: Kanthikara – improves skin complexion and lustre Mangalakara – auspicious Balya – improves strength and immunity Athi sweda hara – relieves excess sweating Ratri sweda hara – useful in night sweating. Pravala Bhasmam for excess sweating/ hyper-hydrosis: Excessive sweating in children is usually due to High Pitta or due to calcium deficiency. Praval, being a good source of calcium and a Pitta calming medicine, is very useful in reducing sweating.

Pravala Bhasma preparation, ingredients, how to make:
Purified coral pieces are made into fine powder by grinding. It is further ground with aloe vera juice extract / Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus root) juice extract or Jayanti juice extract or cow milk, made into flat, disc shaped cakes, dried, and subjecter to 800 – 900 degree Celsius for 3 – 4 hours. This process is repeated for three times. Finally white coloured Bhasma (Coral calx) is obtained.
