Dosage and Adjuvants :

1 -2 gms. with hot water after food 2-3 times a day.

Indications :

Soothaga soolai (dysmenorrhoea), Soothaga kattu (amenorrhoea), Perumpaadu

(metrorrhagia and menorrhagia), Vellaipokku (leucorrhoea), metropathy (ie.,

Uterine disorders) (Karuppai kolarugal), Seetharaththa bedhi (dysentery), Raththa

moolam (bleeding piles), Raththa piththam (any other internal haemorrhages) etc.

Also given in conditions like Seriyamai (Indigestion), Kaichchal (fever), thaagam

(dipsia), Kaanthal/eriru (burning sensation), Soolai (colic), Pungal (ulcers),

Parukkal (pimples)and visceromegaly (Abnormal enlargement of internal

organs).
