Description:Psorakot gel  helps in effective management of psoriasis. It is a proprietary ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal.  Psorakot Gel is a preparation for topical application based on the oil preparation Ayyappala keratailam trusted by the physicians in the treatment of psoriasis.

 

Uses of Psorakot Gel:

  • The ingredients in it have anti-bacterial, anti-pruritic and anti-fungal properties. Hence provides excellent relief from skin problems.
  • The ingredients in coconut oil base help the preparation to fight against psoriasis.
  • The antioxidant activity of the drugs present in the gel potentiates anti-psoriatic activity.
  • Application in conjunction with Psorakot tablet helps in effective management of psoriasis.
  • Psorakot gel provides moisturizing action, which is non-greasy and non-sticky.
  • The ingredient composition of Wrightia tinctoria and neem in coconut oil base helps the preparation to fight against psoriasis as an anti-bacterial, antiseptic and astringent.

Ingredients of Psorakot Gel:
Each 5 g of Psorakot gel contains-
Swetakutaja (Wrightia tinctoria)- leaf- 6.000 g
Nimba (Azadirachta indica)- leaf- 0.374 g
Kerataila (Cocos nusifera)- oil- 1.500 g
Gel base – q.s.
Perfume base – q.s.

 

Preservative- Methyl Paraben Sodium, Propyl Paraben Sodium.

 

Direction for use of Psorakot Gel:
External application over the affected area 2-3 times a day, or as directed by the physician.
