Description:Valiya Chinchadi Lehyam is used for the treatment of Excessive burning sensation, Jaundice, Anemia, Chronic fever and relieves bad breath problem. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal.
Valiya Chinchadi Lehyam is an herbal paste/jam formulation. Chincha refers to tamarind. This is same as that of Cheriya Chinchadi Lehyam, but is more potent in its nature.

Chincha (Tamarindus indica)- 48 gm
One year old jaggery- 240 gm
Mandura (Calx of iron)- 480 gm
Bilva (Aegle marmelos)- 96 gm
Vidanga (Embelia ribes)- 96 gm
Kankola (Piper cubeba)- 24 gm
Trikatu (Zingiber officinale, Piper longum, Piper nigrum)- 24 gm each
Triphala (Embelica officinale, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellerica)- 24 gm each
Jeeraka (Cuminum cyminum)- 24 gm
Krishna Jeeraka (Carum carvi)- 24 gm
Twak (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)- 24 gm
Ela (Elettaria cardamomum)- 24 gm
Patra (Cinnamomum tamala)- 24 gm
Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra)- 24 gm
Rasna (Alpinia galanga)- 24 gm
Jatiphala (Myristica fragrans)- 24 gm
Dosage of Valiya Chinchadi Lehyam:
¼-1/2 tsp with buttermilk, once or twice daily or as directed by the physician
Side effects of Valiya Chinchadi Lehyam:
It may cause stomach irritation in higher doses.
It is not suited for diabetic patients
