Chyawanprash is a nutritious jam, widely recommended by Ayurveda for its wide spectrum of health benefits. In Sanskrit,
the word Prash means specially prepared food. It was reportedly formulated by two ancient sages for restoring youth to an
elderly sage Chyawan- hence named Chyawanprash.
Ayurvedic jams are carriers of herbs that work as powerful aphrodisiacs and to revamp health. Chyawanprash is a blend of
different herbs, amla, ghee, sesame oil and honey.
Ghee, sesame oil and honey serve as catalytic agents to carry herbs deep into the cells while honey helps in neutralising and

Chyawanprash is a powerful immune bolster and aids body in the production of haemoglobin and white blood cells. Amla, the
vital component in chyawanprash detoxifies the body and cleanses the blood, liver, spleen and the lungs. It enhances

Chyawanprash can do an incredible job in promoting lung power. It nourishes the mucous membrane and helps in maintaining the

How to Use Chyawanprash
Chyawanprash can be taken as such or mixed with milk or water or even as a spread on breads. Having with warm milk helps in
revitalizing cells. Regular dosage is 1- 2 teaspoon, once or twice daily in the morning and evening for adults and ½ teaspoon
daily for children.
