Protekt Tablets is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Nagarjuna Ayurvedic Group, Kerala, used in treatment of hyperacidity, gastritis etc.
Protekt Tablets uses: As per the claims of manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Hyperacidity and associated gastric disorders.
Protekt Tablets Dose: 
Adults: – 1 – 2 tablets chewed 2 – 3 times a day.
Children – ½ to 1 tablet – chewed 2 – 3 times a day, or as directed by physician.
How long to take:It can be taken for upto 2 – 4 weeks, based on doctor’s advice.

Each tablet contains
Shringa Bhasma – Calx of Deer Horn – 40 mg
Hingu – Asa foetida – 10 mg
1 mg each of
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum
Shunti – Ginger (rhizome) – Zingiber officinalis
Jiraka – Cumin seed – Cuminum cyminum
Lashuna – Garlic – Alium sativum
Peppermint flavor.

There are no known side effects with this medicine, however, it is best to take this medicine under medical supervision.
Special precaution is needed while prescribing this medicine to children, pregnant and lactating mothers.
