Gokshuradi Guggulu is an important classical polyherbal formulation used in the Ayurvedic system of medicine. It is a mixture of several herbs each having different beneficial properties. 1. Urolithiasis (Kidney stone)
Urolithiasis is the formation of stones in the bladder or urinary tract. According to Ayurveda, it is known as Mutrashmari. Mutrashmari (renal calculi) is a condition that occurs due to an imbalance of Vata and Kapha dosha. This imbalance of doshas causes Sanga (obstruction) in Mutravaha Srotas (urinary system) and leads to problems in micturition (the process of urination). Gokshuradi Guggulu helps manage urolithiasis due to its Mutral (diuretic) property which helps increase urine flow and reduce the formation of stones. It also helps in the easy expulsion of existing stones via urine by increasing urine production.
