Dhanwanthararishtam is an Ayurvedic medication mainly used for the postnatal care of the mothers. It is a liquid medicine containing about 5 to 10% of self-generated alcohol. This natural alcohol, together with the water prevents in the medicine, acts as a media for delivering the active principles in the herbs. This medicine is also called Dhanwanthararishtam.
