YASTI MADHU CHURNA (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
yastimadhu churna is a single drug made of yastimadhu or liquorice or jastamadhu.
Indication:
in treating sorethroat, cough, cold.
improves the speech and memory power.
also used in treating acidity, peptic ulcers, and as rejuvinator.
Dosage:
1/4-1/2tsf, 1-3grms with milk or warm water once or twice or as directed by physician.

Guna:Guru (heavy), Snigdha (oily)
Virya:Shita (cold)
Vipaka:Madhura (sweet)
Doshakarma:Vata-Pitta Shamak (alleviate V and P Dosha)
