Dashang Lepa Churna is made to paste form and applied over external wounds. The term ‘dasha’ is ten, ‘angas’ refers to components or ingredients, used in the preparation, hence the name.
Its usage:
Only external application, Made into paste with ghee.

1. In jvara its applied over fore-head.
   
2. shotha or swelling, visarpa(herpes),
3. In case of kust(leprasy), eczema.

Effect on Tridosha – Calms Pitta and kapha.

10 g of each of
Shirisha – Albizia lebbeck
Yashti – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra
Nata – Indian valerian (root) – Valeriana wallichi
Chandana – Sandalwood – Santalum album
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum
Jatamansi – Nardostachys jatamansi
Haridra – Turmeric rhizome – Curcuma longa
Daru Haridra – Tree Turmeric (stem) – Berberis aristata
Kushta – Saussurea lappa
Hrivera – Pavonia odorata
